Hi Dan,
This is indeed a strange sight! The cable car brings back memories of the 6 months that I lived in the City at the top of Nob Hill and I would often ride the cable cars back from work (up the hill!). One of the lines ran along my street and the sounds of the bellringings and of the running cables were music to my ears day and night. But I digress...
Getting back to your lovely photo, it is great, with a good POV and excellent sharpness. Well done.

Thanks for the kind comments on the empty cable car - much appreciated. See you in about a week - off to Oregon in the morning. See what I can photograph up there.
