Reminds me of this picture by Trent Parke. Like your rendition of the maidan. Perhaps a little more contrast woudl have been more appealing.

thanks for that link...it started to pour after a few minutes...i will upload another pic from the same place in the workshop,taken with a 35mm film camera...i am not sure how it is, thanks for you comment.
