Ha! What a helpful neighbour you are John. After a period of snow clearing I can imagine that a wee dram would have hit the spot, and why not on a chilly winter's day?
How beautiful the snow looks. I like the contrasting colours provided by the shady snow and the sunny snow. It adds to the depth and ambience of the scene.
I wonder if today the snow has all but melted leaving a horrid grey slush?
Magical
Warm regards
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,
Thank you for your kind remarks on this one! No, I'm afraid I didn't have a dram yesterday as I had to drive to Edinburgh airport in the evening to pick up my step-daughter - and the thermometer in my car read -8°C while driving over the hills. Bits of the road were quite slippery too. There has been a bit of sun today but it's only slightly melted the snow and now it's starting to freeze again so the roads and pavements are like a skating rink. I got your message about that "Transform" thingy so I shall reply. I think I might have to send you an email because I don't think I'd be able to do it via the forum here. I'll try to do that soon and I'll do my best to make it vagely intelligible! Kind Regards, John. |
