Hello Ian,
This photo made me smile. It seemed so very familiar. Maybe you remembered this:

when taking this photo. But I guess such compositions come to anyone's mind automatically. That lady wore the perfect colours for this photo.

When I saw this installation in Canberra it did have a touch of familiarity and when I checked out your posting of it there was the explanation.
