Quelle magnificence des couleurs - augmenté par la lumière du soleil! J'aime bien cette ambiance à l'aise avec tous ces promeneurs. Je voudrais bien entrer dans ta photo maintenant ... ;-)

It's a bit misleading, Gert -the water you see is actually puddled formed by melted snow, as we'd had a covering the day before. Then the temperature spiked for a couple days. The ice under them was thick and safe from weeks upon weeks of freezing weather, but the effect is a good one.
And yes, the clothing was troublesome; I had to bring out some color even here from the original. In order to get the right effect from the ice it had to be backlit, but of course that doesn't do much for the figures in the frame... I'll post one tomorrow where I took an alternate approach.
