Through an airplane window

I've always loved views through airplane windows and unfortunately face the same problems as you. I too find that most of the time, all it needs is drastic adjustment of contrast and all the "original" colours and details suddenly show up and in quite natural tones too. In the small collection I've uploaded there's one of Angkor Wat from the air. The original picture is quite unrecognisable with heavy haze combined with a typical aircraft porthole window too.
