Hi Sohrab,
Is this a photograph from the NFI exhibition? Your theme was documenting the yet-to-materialise benefits of 'India Shining', if I read correctly! And this one does fit the criteria, if i may say so - the strong jaw line, the determined posture, the burnt sky reminiscent of the era of film-making and documentary I grew up in.

hi durba,
sorry for the late reply yes this was in the nfi exhibition.. it was actually work on people's struggles for livelihood and employment and not "yet to materialise benefits of india shining" exactly.. i'm guessing oyu read it in the hindu or something.. sohrab :)
