In there times I think I would have fully praised the complexity of this one but after your cranked up the level with your kumbha mela and holi shots, watch out for the critics, Sohrab. hehehe..
Funnily enough this is perhaps one where I miss color a lot... in fact I miss Krishna's BLUE skin... wasn't him who is said to have shagged more than 10.000 gopis? and after that how come India is so puritan?

To Luko: yeah
he had about 1500 wives..
but radha, his love was not one of them.. actually these kds had their faces painted in white and not blue. kids enact out the story of krishna in what's called krishna leela. similarly, you have ram leela during dussehra. actually while krishna is depicted as blue in most illustrations, he is supposed to have been dark actually.. he was quite jealous of radha's fair complexion and went complaining to his foster mother yashodha who in turn told him to lovingly apply colour onto radha's face. which krishna did. since then holi has been celebrated.
