Hello Jason,
Was browsing through your little gallery and decided on this shot for my first critique. I noticed that you have done some WS on the sky. Was the original sky very bad? The workshop took away some of the shapes of the trees and made them look too artificial. A nice action shot but I guess maybe a little too much frozen. I might want to try a little slower speed to blur out the horse legs. Also this was a opportunity to try out some panning shots of the race. Did you manage to experiment with this? TFS Andre

To andreng: agreed
I agree that the sky looks to fake. This is not one of my favorite shots. I liked the photo but the sky was just to bland. I did a filter in photoshop and this is how it turned out. Thanks for the input.
