This is very nice shot of the Vilnius skline, which to my mind is beginning to rival Prague as an example of a preserved baroque town centre. I'm a bit puzzled by your description of your point of view. I can't work out how it isn't more west of the old town looking east, and slightly north. Is that hotel the Panorama? Points tomorrow.

the point from which the shot was taken is actually on the sout-eastern point of the old town and the view is directed to the north-west. The hotel you see is that big tall white highrise hotel near the river which was reconstructed and newly opened a year ago, it's Reval Hotel Lietuva (official name), people just call it "Lietuva" (Lithuania) as it was called before renovation. I'll try to take more shots from the same point to a bit different direction, or maybe an entire panorama to show a wider view.
