Great PixelTerror 2006-07-20 5:08

Hi Steve,
I see you're into reflections these days, I like this one possibly more than the previous one because in addition to the reflection the important presence of water in the foreground adds good clarity and we can well see how the water is crystal clear. Some nice snow already for this early winter, have you been skiing ?
Have a nice day,

Default To PixelTerror: Lake Wakatipu reflections

Bonjour Jean Yves,
Thanks for your valued critiques!
Yes, the reflection series was unintentional, but maybe I have 1 or 2 more to share yet...
The scenery in NZ lends itself very well to this type of photography, maybe it has something to do with my 'land-locked' home town... Every time I am near some water I get inspired.
I have the same experience around mountains, the same maybe because it is quite flat where I live... who knows.
To answer your question, yes, indeed I went skiing for the first ever time in NZ, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We went to the Coronet Peak in Queenstown. The price compared with Chamonix skiing in the French Alps was astonishingly cheaper. Just a shame it's on the other side of the planet! ;)
