Great arnoud1976 2006-07-08 6:28

hi vincent, wonderful view here! comp and pov are excellent. i do think there is too much blue in the mountains, i played around a bit with a ws. might very well be the scan thoughj causing it. hope you can appreciate the slightly warmer version :-)
cheers arnoud

Default To arnoud1976: workshop

Hi Arnoud,
Thanks for your comments. You are right; there is a little too much blue in the background. Your workshop makes it a bit too purple for my liking, though. I have a new scanner now, which will help with lessening the blue in some photos. Some brands of film give a blue cast, and the previous scanner I was using emphasised the blue end of the spectrum. Of course, the atmosphere can be quite blue on some days when there is water vapour present.

Hi Vince, you are right on the purple. I use different monitor here and indeed the colors have slightly different tones from the one i use at home. I agree on the blue part in the sky, especially in NZ| skies van be amazingly blue, very deep clean colors. with polariser sometyimes even close to black.

Thanks arnoud
