Great Marlis 2005-11-06 13:23

hello David,
this is an interesting documentary shot. Emergency vehicles packed away... pretty tightly packed I might say!
The blades all lined up, the yellow bodies of the choppers... it is a nice colorful pattern.
God POV.

Default To Marlis: Sardine Packing

I believe the evacuation was for Hurricane Frederick. It was rare to see helicopters crammed into a hanger like that. I was glad I had my camera with me to capture the moment. The helicopters belong to PHI (Petroleum Helicopters Inc) I worked for them for a year after getting out of the Army. An interesting side note, Kris Kristofferson also worked for them briefly when he got out of the service. They are and were a really good company. Korea gave me a love for the mountains and the over water stuff was a little boring.
An old friend of mine is still with them doing quite well.

Thanks for noticing this picture.
