Gnangarra - means meeting place by water (Local Aboriginal Name). This was one place where a new science teacher was tring to empart his knowledge. Started talking about the soil purity and its high quality how it was located so close to a metro area that the government wouldn't allow it to be mined. I disputed his rational as the actual reason was because of it location over the major aquifer and the aquifers proximity to the surface. During the last year of High school he kept calling me Gnangarra.
Spin the time machine forward 10 years I was working for a multinational oil company and was transferred across the country to a new position. Through my position i became a participant of an internal discussion group via the net with people from various loactions around the world. As part of this discussion group we needed to use a name that was unique. Just being a lot sentimental about home, in a new city no family very few friends I needed somewhere to belong. I used Gnangarra, now its just automatic ask for a userid i type gnangarra. |

Hallo "Rosiegirl"!
My names as username were already occupied, when I came to TE. I was sure to need an unusual word and therefore I took "Buin" as my username, because it is unusual and the name of the highest mountain, I ever climbed up, The "Piz Buin" (3.312 m), situated at the frontier between Austria and Switzerland. Excuse my awful english! Greetings from Germany! Frank |

This is a "no-brainer". My password "erdna" is the reverse of my first name "andre". I used it when I was in college and I am still using it now.

Not much thought went into mine, it was pretty much a no-brainer (I try to minimize the use of my brain :-). As Steven (DANBY1), my e-mail accounts have always been danielswalsh (at Hotmail or Yahoo etc etc) so when it came to my TE username I just stuck with what I was used to.
Daniel being the first name (obviously) S being my middle initial (Sean) and Walsh being my sirname. Really nothing too exciting in my case... Cheers! - Dan |
