Hi David, another picture of yours with amazing clouds - the different layers and colours making a dramatic sight. I also like the bands of colour and contrasts in the mountains below.

How much post processing was used here? I suspect quite a lot to achieve the overall colourful and smooth effect. In principle I do not have anything against this if it produces good results as here. However I think the image is bordering on unnatural with the saturated colours and the marked graduation of brightness from the foreground peaks to their base. But as I said, the overall effect is still very appealing. Anyway, please tell me if I'm completely off the mark and the landscape really was this dramatic to the naked eye!

This actually required very little pp. I added contrast at about 8% and sharpened. That's about it, as I recall. It was just a weird day.
