Great jmaddocks 2004-02-23 7:48

Hi Michael. This view of Scotland is different than most I've seen, and I like it very much! The reflexion of the mountain in the harbour is beautiful. I have done a workshop that cropped out the ripple in the front left of the shot. I like ripples, but I think it detracted from this shot (in my opinion). I also enhanced the colour balance, contrast and saturation, and sharpened the picture. Well done!

Default To jmaddocks: Thanks for the workshop

Thanks for the workshop John, you really brought the picture to life, the boat and the lock next to it really stand out now and the whole scene just looks... better (for want of a better adjective!).

I agree it's unusual for a scene of the Scottish Highlands, the Highlands are often wet, misty and grey, so a perfectly clear and still evening like this is very rare.
