Thanks for the remarks. I deliberately kept exposure in check to keep the menacing effect of the clouds and its interaction with the colour of the water. It makes the photo look more dramatic. (It was quite dramatic day compared to South Africa's average climatic conditions).

What is wrong with the deer in the middle of the photo? Why do we always follow whatever "rules" others vomit as if it is the all and everything. To me photography is a form of art and landscape photography in particular is what nature throws your way in a moment in time. The deer is just perfect where it is.
