Great mmohan 2012-05-16 11:19

Hello Smruti,
I look around for compositions that are different from the usual. Yours is definitely different. I wonder why the exif data is not available on this image, however I assume you have used a narrow DOF and have succeeded in showing the wreath to good effect. Non photographically speaking, the graveyard looks quite unlike the ones I have seen here in the UK. Did you go in and spend some time with these ancestors? :)
just joking.
KInd regards,
Manoj

Default To mmohan: thank you Manoj!

Thank you for your encouragement. Not sure why the exif data doesnt transfer automatically when I upload the photo...and I'm not motivated enough to go look it up and type it manually.

The graveyard is indeed different even by American standards. The cemetery is actually part of the ruins of the San Geronimo church that stood in the area back in the 1600s...that bell tower you see in the background is all that remains of the old church. It's a really fascinating place with so much history to it. And no, visiting the ancestors was not part of the tour, this time.
