Yes, I am glad that I chose Luang Prabang but the best thing that happened was that I accepted a kind inviation of a complete stranger to go to his village hours away from LP. I was like the new Panda in the San Diego zoo, everyone in the village comes by to say hello or at least look at this "farang". Their kindness and hospitality overwhelmed me and true to my timid nature, I didn't dare to pull my camera out. This picture is here because my new friend (the monk) knowing that I have a camera urged me to take a picture. It is the only one that was taken of the ceremony.
