But the photo has absolutely nothing to do with Songkran festival - leave the information about Songkran festival for photos that show Songkran festival.
Yes, everyone knows what's going on in Thailand at the moment, but if someone looks at this photo in, say, six months or a year from now, they may not remember or be aware of the significance of the events surrounding it.

Charlotte,
Songkran is on April 13th, every year, and that's the day the events took place, hence my posting on that very day. But really, you missed my post was done ONLY with humour in mind, not infos. Check what the festival is about and check the bottles in the police's jackets. I am not a regular anymore on TE, this was just to wish thai friends on TE good luck to their country, without being too heavy. Just like thais would be... Cordially
