The thing that I find interesting is that the umbrella is not providing any shade for the monk at all. Are you sure that you didn't ask him to lift it up to provide light on his face?

To KevinRL: Two points for you, Kevin
Bravo. very good observation, Kevin, I was wonderring when people will notice it. This is a posed shot, I did ask the monk to walk the path. The lifting of the parasol was not my idea though, I have a whole series of shots which his face is well hidden under the parasol, this is the last one in the series and the only one that he somehow raised the parasol high enough.
