Thank you, Jean, for your kind words about this one This was quite a good day out, especially with the company of other TE members although I'm afraid most of them are no longer active here - Jasmine Wang, Ann Jackman and Mike Wright have not been around for some time on TE though Will Perrett still is quite active. And, actually, it might have been a more enjoyable day if it had actually stopped raining for a while!
Thank you too for sending me that advice to look at the Geological Society's website - I've had a look at it and it appears to have a huge wealth of information, so that's a website of which I shall keep a note for further reference.
