Hey you need to set settings in order to activate notifications. just go to your user cp and select edit options... and there you can select what kind off notification you want instant notification email or daily or weekly mail subscription.
Some of you who choose instant notification email or daily email or weekly email but are still not getting notification because you are not subscribed to that thread. If you start new thread or reply to existing thread after doing these settings you get subscribed automatically to those threads. But you wont be getting any notification if you are not subscribed to that thread means if you made reply to existing thread before these settings that means you are not subscribed to that thread and in order to get notification you need to subscribe to that thread, and you can subscribe either by replying to that thread or by going to that thread and selecting thread tools and then selecting subscribe to this thread.
