To pen: Tripod

Good point! Well I managed to rest the camera on the railing. So although technically I did not use a tripod, it was not entirely true to say this shot was hand held either. I hope that makes sense,...

Re: To Julian_K: Hello again!

Who knows Reed - I really like this photo and it is much deserving of only the 2 points. Many times I see very simple photos on this site with 100+ points that are very plain and simple... makes me...

To theswedish: Syria...

I couldn't agree with you more regarding Syria. Many people have a bad opinion about the place due to the bad media attention it receives. However I found it to be one of the best countries to visit...

Re: To mariandrea: Middle East in October

I also went to Syria which was a fantastic place, probably my favourite in the Middle East. The people are so friendly and honest, it is very cheap, and there are some fantastic things to see - I...

To mariandrea: Middle East in October

To rafid76: ZD 50mm

Hi Peter,
Thanks for clarifying for me. It looks like a nice place and I know it is not in South Australia so that made me curious. :)
Cheers,

To marjan: lens distortion

Thank you for the nice comment. It would be mild lens distortion you have noticed, as this shot was taken at 14mm, which is 28mm on a 35mm equivalent lens (on the Olympus system).
