We had to go about 1 km farther than to the church visible on top of the hill. I'm not good at estimating distances, but surely it was 2-4 km of walking uphill. Oh, joy! ;-)

I suppose they are blurred because they were dark, in the shadow and exposure was measured on them. The buildings in the background are a bit overexposed, I think, but not that bad to make it...

Now I look at it, I think you're right about sharpness. I tended to oversharpen, now it's the opposite. I need to look at the full-size file, maybe the lack of sharpness is due to the camera movement...
