Hi and thanks for your comment.
I agree too about the gate, the problem that i had was a whole bunch of trees and bushes to my right that prevented me from getting the composition that i would...

Hi there!
I haven't been on here for a long time which is why i haven't replied until now!

Hi!
Thank you for your comments :-)
I didn't shoot the foreground seperately, but instead i took 65 photos with 30 second exposures each, and then i stacked them in "star trail software" and...

The magenta sky was most odd! I guess the clouds must have been close to this colour though, mainly because the white balance of everything else was spot on :-)
Maybe it was because it was taken...

Hi there!
The colours were much stronger than this in real life, but my camera had trouble reproducing it :-( so this is actually somewhat duler than the real scene was, it was amazing though!

To Bruno40: Lightning trigger
Hi Jorge!
A lightning trigger is a gadgit that you put on top of the camera and it fires the shutter whenver there is a flash of lightning, which makes it much easier to capture it!

To rgarrigus: Lightning trigger
Hi Bob!
Thank you for your comments.
Yes, indeed i did use a lightning trigger! :-)
It was much needed too because it wasn't dark enough to capture this under a really long exposure.

Hi there!
Thanks for your comments!
It was actually shot at f22, not f20, my mistake! I have changed it now though.
The ISO was set at 200 and this was plenty light enough for the exposure time...

Thanks for your comments :-)
The actual shutter speed was 1.5 seconds but the water was drawing out very fast indeed due to the very steep beach!

Hi Antonio!
Thank you for your comments.
I shot this at ISO 400 under strong moonlight, but rather than this being one long 38 minute exposure, it is actually many 30 second exposures combined.
