I don't think the detail on the other side is too bad. I really like the reflection of the buildings as well as the rainbow!

I think this picture would have benifitted from being a panorama to include more of the loch itself and the hills to the left!

I like this B&W shot of the Highlands with the road disappearing to who knows what! I like the Highlands for the reasons you state in your note... the fact you can travel for miles and not see another soul!
Are you aware that the poles at the side of the road are so the man driving the snow plough knows what way the road goes? |
