Nice B/W image. You could have made it more dramatic by using an orange or red filter. IT can be done digitally altough the effect of using filters with film gives a real punch. Regards Rajib Ghose

HI, This photograph is taken on the way to Kedarnath. The black peak in the center is known as Ganapati top. Garur Chatti can be seen a bit right to the center. I presume you took this photograph well before reaching Rambara.

WOW paradise. I long to visit such a beach. The beach near my home is not very nice and it is very dangerous to swim in the sea as there is a lot of under water current. A lot of people hav died.

Hi Harsha, Nice photograph. When did you go there? A lot of snow around. YOu forgot to mention that one can reach Harsil (close to gangotri) if one continues east via the Lamkhaga Pass. It is a very rarely crossed pass. The ITBP has its last check post a days hike from the pass. The check post is very close to the snout of the Baspa glacier. One has to cross the river in order to cross Lamkhaga Pass. The landscape is awesome out there. Th valleys are very wide. To reach Har-Ki-Doon one has to cross the Borasu pass. It was one of my toughest passes. Rajib

Superb composition my friend. The people walking on the edge of the glacier and the curvature of the glacier make it very interesting. The hikers give a sense of vastness of the region. Rajib
