Hi Su Nice to see you dropping in TE. Have seen your post in TN, cool natural collection of BIRDS. You know what, Su, it's hard to believe that the images of birds captured using your D70 is simple exceelent and awesome. The details of the feathered are real fine and the clarity is real sharp. Okay, back to this "dried-up" Kenyir Lake. I hope it will wait for me to pay a visit before being totally dried-up. I have been planning to visitng this place but there's too much cool place for photography in Malaysia that I keep on postphoning the trip. This is one simple shot of mother nature with a different tone of rendering. Warm and very atmospheric, Su. The lack ad lost of activity made it more isolating. Cheers and good day. Eric Lai

Lovely colour and light, and the stark dead trees contrast well with the lush forest. I can't decide whether I like the black frame or not - sometimes I think that it overpowers the image and leaves the sides too empty, but then this may be a good thing.....! Great photo, anyway. Thanks Brian

Hi Su, You've captured a beautiful image. I like the contrasting light between foreground and background and how the depth of field suddenly appears to stop rather than graduating...very sinister. Your additional framing at the top and bottom adds a necessary extra depth. Celina
