With almost 900 views yet only 16 'points' I am starting to believe there are very narrow constraints on what counts as good images here on TE. I've lived in Bangkok and this image captures so much of the essence of this city. One of the best street photos I have seen in a long time. Fabulous work. KMc

What a wonderful shot..a great urban image with shades of Blade Runner. I love the way the lady seems a bit vulnerable amidst the height..hanging in space. KMc

Mark...these notes crack me up..priceless...love it ! I think somewhere in Jungian - based psychology, is the notion of archetypes. Personality traits residing within all of us. For example...the Hurt Inner Child, The Rescuer, The Victim, etc. There is another one too ... the Prostitute. He who sells his soul. We need to be on constant guard otherwise we end up giving the masses what they like. I have an elephant image posted here..possibly one of my best ever ccaptures..yet it is ratingdismally..but I CARE NOT. I rather like your phallic water tower. KMc

A really fine shot ..very moody and dramatic and the sky is so well done. Have you considered it may have been improved even further had you positioned the seaweed slightly more to the left? Perhaps recrop by bringing the bottom frame up so it touches the long seaweed strand and then bring the left edge in about half way towards the seaweed. Just a thought..a really fine capture..I particularly like the way you caught those breaking waves on the right. Congrats KMc

Hi Stephane..I like what you are trying here and I think it has largely succeeded. Your POV is fine with the low horizon and exposures are pretty well spot on. For me I think its great. I'm only new here on TE butI get the distinct impression that this genre of image is not too well received..but I maybe wrong. Cheers KMc

THis is an extra ordinarily good shot ! I just posted a similar one but was not brave enough to get so close to the water. You have done everything right here and the result is an image that demands attention. Congrats. KMc
