Interesting shot - I agree with you about the boat... reminds me of the 'Crimson Permanent Assurance' sketch in Monty Python's 'The Meaning of Life' - any body else remember that?

Nice Shot - good colours, and your choice of viewpoint really shows the defensive capabilities of this castle... but them I'm somewhat biased - I'm descended from the MacQillans!

Lovely shot of this impressive sculpture... I think I prefer this composition to the earlier one you had posted - the bushes add foreground interest, while the line of the fence leads the eye towards the angel. The figures are well placed, and really help to give a sense of scale, while the exposure is spot on in the snow, which can often be tricky. My only (very slight :D ) criticism is the time of day you took the shot - it looks as though the snow has been trampled quite a lot, and the sky doesn't have a lot of atmosphere to it... if you get the chance, try retaking at dawn or sunset to get the colours and dramatic side-lighting.

Nice shot - love the almost monochrome atmosphere, with just the splash of colour from the jacket. Great composition, and nice work with the gaussian blur in photoshop. My only slight criticism would be the fact the figure is looking directly at the camera - I don't know why, but this seems to make the image slightly unsettling... maybe thats just me! How do you find the Dynax 7D? been thinking of getting one since it was first announced... have you made any big prints from it?

Excellent exposure, composition, lighting, colours, sharpness... infact, I'd be hard pushed to find anything wrong with this photo! The track through the heather and bracken leads the eye perfectly through the frame to the tree, while the frost on the vegetation, and the mist in the background add an extra special dimension to this picture. If this is an easy spot for you to reach, I'd love to see a series of shots at different times of year, and different conditions... thick snow, spring greens, summer, autumn colours... would look fantastic!

Nice shot, with the contrast between the dead Autumn leaves, and the new flowers. In English, these flowers are called Crocus (pronounced the same as the 'krokus' part of the Swedish Höstkrokus) - these usually flower in spring, but I think there is a winter flowering type, which must be what you've photographed here.
