Interesting comparison. Good colours for both. Well balanced in their own right. Makes the lake look so natural, like at the edge of undisturbed wetlands.... but I know what's down there... ;)

Looks staged... but whether staged or candid, it's very well done and conveys an experience well beyond the chaos. Interesting to note that the guy looking at the map is the only one in the picture not heading to or through the crossroad, and provides for an excellent main subject. The chaotic close-proximity traffic at the crossroad then becomes a very tastefully cluttered backdrop and setting. Very entertaining.

LOL This is cute. Great pose, great shot. Sharp where it needs to be

Very crisp colours and sharpness. Autumn is a beautiful season in almost all countries with cold winters. A bit odd to have people in the picture focusing their attention outward from the centre of the picture, espcially if we can't see what they're looking at. Better if they are positioned such that their line of view passes through the center area of the picture.

Excellent use of clouds together with the detailed outline of the structure. Very good position and crop, and definitely a unique addition to an already over-photographed monument.

People taking pictures of people by the pond at Angkor Wat happens all the time... but a group of monks sometimes. The donkey (when I was there it was a slightly lighter horse) probably hangs around all the time... but taking a swim too is rare. Spent a day in total camping around both ponds and the moat including sunrise, sunset, night lights, and some in betweens and none of the above happened. So to get the monks, donkey, and as burGu says, the NG photographer... is not an "all the time" happening, and I would have been thrilled. Thumbs up for a great shot of the "action", and the brightly sun-lit robes really puts the colour into the mix. The lotus seems to have receeded somewhat since I was there in early January. Couldn't get a decent panoramic reflection at that time.

Hope the ones having fresh salad that day didn't see this... Great portrait, and I'm sure she was caught while in motion too, challenging.

Perhaps offering a translation might lend a bit more entertainment to viewing this picture... ;)

I think the beauty of the bird and the Air France sign is that it's on a really old run-down, breaking-up, faded building
