I rarely post photos of beaches, but here is one. This is from Tarrafal in the northern part of Santiago island, Cape Verde. I showed a few street photos from the same town recently, but Tarrafal is mainly known for its beach. Recent photos indicate that foreign tourists have now found their way here, but in 2006 I didn't see anyone, just local fishermen.
