Third picture in the series and an opposite view of the Fort Augustus lock-system that connect the Loch-Ness, from elevation of 16m above sea-level, through the Caledonian-canal to Loch-Oich which is elevated from sea level by 32 meters.
This entry to the canal located at the most south-west tip of Loch-Ness, 57.1449, -4.68184 on the map.
