Photographer's Note

A shallow cascade, ice-cold water of the Sligachan river. Took this photo from same location where the two bridges near the intersection of the A87 and the A863 roads, major routes in the Isle-of-Skye.
57.2896, -6.173 on the map.
The river flows to the Sligachan Loch, a fjord stretches to the sound of Raasay that located across the mainland Scotland.
Some history from Wikipedia:
Clan MacLeod of Dunvegan, met the clan MacDonalds of Sleat at Sligachan on several occasions from 1395 till 1601, and a legend is told that the Cuillins are haunted by the ghost of an outlaw warriors from both clans.
