Statue of Dionysus posted near the most ancient Amphitheatre which was founded around 500 BC, at the southern slopes of the Acropolis.

From Wikipedia: Dionysus was considered the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, of ritual madness, fertility, theatre and religious ecstasy in the Greek mythology.

Bacchus, was his the name adopted by the Romans in later times. Dionysus was also represented by city religions as the protector of those who do not belong to conventional society and thus symbolizes everything which is chaotic, dangerous and unexpected.
