The Amber fort in Jaipur. In 1592, construction of the Fort was started by Raja Man Singh I but has its present form during the reign of Raja Jai Singh I. At the time I was there there were restorations going on. Seen the largitude of the complex there is still work for years... The architecture is really impressive. I hope you like.

ce n'est pas par chez nous que nous pourrons admirer de telles splendeurs. Aussi impressionnant que la montagne qu'il essaye de cacher, cet édifice séduit par ses couleurs et la délicatesse de ses motifs.
Un cadrage super.

Je me souviens très bien de cet endroit mais je ne me souvenais pas qu'il y avait des montagnes aussi proche. Cette image est exceptionnelle. la composition et la PDC sont excellente

interesting point of view (which is very appealing), and the colours are beautiful and perfectly balanced. Good lighting and contrast! Very beautiful mountains in the distance, with some buildings on top...

Salut Hendrik,
Je vois que tu reviens sur ton voyage en Inde ! Icj le point de vue dominant la ville est tres bon et tu y etais au bon moment car la lumiere sur la tour est super, elle chauffe les couleurs et permet de bien separer les deux plans, cet endroit doit etre vraiment super a visiter !

Hi Hendrik,
a very nice view from a high point and with good details of the architecture and facade to the deeper valley. The background mountains add context and good difference by their own texture. Good light management for shadows details.

Die was mij even ontglipt, ik verwachte geen uit India.
Nochtans vind ik deze foto zeer mooi, goed van samenstelling en van kleur.
Ook technies mag hij getoond worden, perspectief en diepte zijn perfect.

The Amber / red fort contrasts well, against the blue sky. (I know that there's also a Red Fort: just describing colour, not placenames). Good sharpness & pov. Superb relief & light contrasts on the bg peaks. Tfs!
