We had a week in Croatia, spending four days just outside Paklenica National Park. We also spent time in Plitvice National Park, Krka National Park, both famous for their waterfalls and the towns of Trogir and Split. I have so many waterfall images I decided to alternate posts from different places. (19 photos)

In November I changed jobs. I left the aircraft industy, and joined a large company in the maritime sector.
In december I worked in Riecka, Croatia. Now I'm back to finish the job.
My new job is as a service engineer, and so my job is a great deal of work in other countrys than Norway.
So on this occation I hope to be able to shoot some of the things I see around me, and to be able to show you guys and girls. (7 photos)

First week: a cruise with a sailing boat from Marina Kastela near Split, northwest bound to Kornat Island, Dugi Otok and other minor islands like Kakan, Kaprije, Zirije and others.

Limska Draga Bike Tour by Vid Pogachnik (495) 2006-05-07 - 2006-05-07
Limska Draga is a nice, dry valley in Central Istria. This travelogue describes the bike tour through it and through the neighbouring towns. On the tour we shall visit picturesque old towns, like Sveti Lovrec and Tinjan, the ruins of ghost town Dvigrad, we shall visit the cave of Romuald, take a rest in Lim bay, and of course cycle through the romantic Limska Draga itself. Istria is the westernmost County of the Republic of Croatia, the largest peninsula of the Adriatic with mild, Mediterranean climate (warm and dry summers, mild and pleasant winters).
Average amount of sunshine: 2.388 hours.
Istria is the largest green oasis of the North Adriatic. The coast and the islands are covered with pine woods and easily recognizable green macchia. The main specimens of macchia are holm oak and strawberry trees. 35% Istria is covered with forests. (5 photos)
