HDR = High Dynamic Range.
Using often 3 or more exposures Under/over exposed - combined in a software IE Photomatix to generate one exposure compensated for the darkest/lightest parts of the series.

Cathars
Catharism was a dualistic religion, their philosophy being based on the opposition of Good versus Evil. Good was considered to being close to spirituality; the opposite of Evil represented by the material world.

Even though some Cathars were reported after 1244, historians generally agree that the tragedy at Montsegur were 220 leading Cathars was burned at the stake instigated the disappearance of Catharism.

I find it very interesting for some landscape photos to make them in a version where 2 (sometimes 3) photos are vertical stitched.
The format is in a way towards the old 6x6 format.
I use PanoramaMaker for stitching and also for blending the colours of the 2 photos. Important as the lower and upper photo often have some differences in handling the light.

One day I realized that I had a series of brown, darkish or sepia toned photos in my TE collection. I think I must like those tones - and for that it made sense to make a theme of them. Should you like to comment on them I'll be glad to hear from you.
