Welcome to my little place here. My interest in photography stems from hiking. I have a dear son (With me in the picture just after we were drenched in a mountain rain) who has severe autism (non verbal etc.). His main interest/activity is hiking on the weekends.

This summer we moved from Colorado to Duluth, Minnesota.

On the wall of the projection room of a company specializing in children's films are inscriptions of appreciation. One of these touched me in an extraordinary way. Along with the 'thank you' were the following words, painted, illuminated, by the child author:

Once upon a time
There was a little boy
And he went outside.

~ from the preface of the 2nd edition of "The Genesis of Music" by Harry Partch

take care and thanks for visiting.
