| Introdução: | Howdy! Very simple : most of my shots are centered on southwestern USA landscapes. A life absorbing fascination dating from the time I was a little kid watching John Wayne in Stagecoach and The Searchers, way back in the late 50's and early 60's. Other than that : mainly shots of The Netherlands, as I live in Amsterdam although I was born and raised in Turin, Italy. I do love photography, but I don't usually get too fanatical about it. Fact is : I travel first and take pictures second. Let's say it's an outstanding tool to convey my take on reality, but I don't plan to go nuts on technicals. In my own experience, every single time I overthink a shot I screw up. I also try to minimize the use of Photoshop to what's strictly necessary whenever possible, although... I could be lying. Next upcoming USA trip : CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' TOUR, Aug. 2009. All details still to be finalized, but we'll start as usual in Vegas, hit Williams, AZ. and Grand Canyon South Rim, then drive down to San Diego and L.A. before heading for the Western and Eastern Sierras. Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Mammoth, Mono Lake, Bishop and Bodie are definitely on our schedule. Thanks for YOUR time! | |
