| Introdução: | As I am about to post my 400th picture I thought about updating my profile. I've been a member of Trekearth for sometime now. Sometimes more active than others. I began taking photos with a small Canon compact in Laos in 2003 to give me something to do rather than play photographic widow to my husband who would spend hours with his SLR and tripod. However, returning from that trip and finding TE the bug set in. From then on I was hooked and began taking photography more seriously. I later graduated to a Nikon D70, and during my last trip to Burma got to use (occasionally) my husband's D200. I still enjoy being amember of TE although I think it has changed as everything does, over the years. I try to adhere to the TE spirit and post photos that teach about the world through photography. I don't think this site should be used just as a showcase for one's work. I do try to post quality photos and try to learn from constructive comments. I have learnt a lot here and been fortunate enough to meet many TE members both here in the Netherlands and while travelling abroad.
