| Introdução: | Hi, I live in England, in the town of Ipswich in East Anglia. This is quite a flat part of the world, and since I was born and brought up in Scotland, I do miss the lochs and mountains. Perhaps as a result, I'm a keen traveller and I tend to seek out more dramatic scenery wherever I go. I've been taking photographs on my travels for years, strictly as an amateur. I applaud the aim of this site, to 'learn more about the world through photography'. Therefore, you may well find that many of my pictures are not technically brilliant, but hopefully they do have something to say about our planet. Having said that though, I am keen to learn how to make my pictures better in the technical sense too! I posted my first photographs soon after I bought my Canon EOS 350D and made the change to digital for the first time. I find that I'm now taking far more photographs than I used to with film - the beauty, but also the curse, of digital photography! I'd like to thank everyone who has critiqued my pictures - your comments are very welcome, and I hope you'll continue to help me learn how to improve my photography. I've also uploaded some of my older photos, especially from my trip to Bolivia and Peru in 2005. These are mostly taken with my old Canon EOS 500 35mm SLR.
