Photographer’s Note
Unique apple tree plant colony from the Ukrainian city of Krolevts of Sumy region - one of wonderful items of national action “Seven natural miracles of the Ukraine”.
Tree does not have analogs in the world. Outwardly - this is the apple-tree bush, whose age is more than 220 years. Today there are six basic trunks and several tens taken root branches. The unsurpassed unknown special feature of apple tree there is its capability for independent taking root by branches. When one of adhered to the earth trunk must die off, its branches are inclining toward the earth and also adhere. Because of this ability the miracle apple tree entered into the horticulture history. This apple tree blossom with pink flowers of usual size in the period of the flowering of gardens. Only one half of tree bears fruits each year, and the second rests. It bears fruits with sour-sweet apples of average size. The names of type - Lozovka, Kruchena (“Twisted”), Knyasha (“Princely”). Now apple tree colony is the botanical reminder of nature of state value.
