Photographer’s Note
I was going through my pictures from Africa and found this one from the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It is such a unique experience gliding through the reeds and waterways of this wildlife paradise. The waters are like a mirror with waterlillies floating on top. In some place the reeds are so thick that you can hardly see where you're going which only adds to the thrill of the experience.
The sound of silence is overwhelming and then once in a while it's interrupted by birds taking off or chirping.
Your mode of transport is a mokoro - a dugout canoe - which is the traditional way of getting around this magnificent place.

Was this at the Oddballs Camp? I was there in September last year and can not forget the extraordinary time spent in the Okavango Delta.
I remember very well those POV’s just above the water on board of the mokoros. Your photo is beautiful and the view is fantastic. I have some photos in my gallery. Please have a look.
