Photographer’s Note
Paris, Norvins street in Montmartre.
On a side of the street emerges the little Marcel Aymé square, in the name of the writer who lived next to here and buried in the little cemetery of St-Vincent close to this place.
This sculpture, made by the french actor Jean Marais is an homage to the author and its short story, "Le passe-muraille" (I would translate by "the man who goes through the wall" but not sure), edited in 1943.
The hero of the story, Mr Dutilleul, is a little employee of a ministry and he uses his talent to get his revenge of an humiliation and to make some larceny.
Here, he seems to call this group of tourists who goes away.
Silver photo I scanned.

salut yannis,
les touristes ont l'air de ne pas s'être apercus de cet étrange homme passant à travers les murs. Je trouve que ca fait très edgar alan poe. en tout cas ca donnerait envie à un auteur d' écrire une petite nouvelle noire et fantastique.

Hi Yannis. Nice shot from high angle of this sculpture. Nice framing with the crowd gathering the guide. Well framed and TFS. Best regards. Jusni
