Photographer’s Note
We ended up back again in Sint-Anna-ter-Muiden, where we started and yes, you hear me coming already: this trip is almost finished.
For the history on this nice little village, I kindly refer you to the first picture of this series.
What I like a lot about this village is its tranquility and rural character. Can you imagine that this used to be the central square of a busy little harbour? I guess you wouldn't expect this to be it, but it was a town once. I'm very happy that it remained sleepy in its past.
After this one, still one picture and then... Let me keep this a surprise. Some of you may have already an idea based on some things I said.

Hendrik, dit was een van de beelden die mij in het achterhoofd speelden, wat ik wist dat dit zeer mooi moest zijn, en inderdaad het is mooi, de schaduw op de voorgrond, de twee lantaarns op de zijkanten, met alles mooi er tussen, ik had deze foto iets groter gemaakt Hendrik, ik denk dat deze nog mooier zou zijn. St Anna mooi, rustig en zeker vrede vol. Mooi gedaan, spijtig dat u blijkbaar rond bent!

Given what I see here it looks neither like a harbour nor like a once busy place.
Sometimes I regret not to be able to travel in the past.

Cette image respire la tranquillité et la quiétude, un village qui prend le temps de vivre. Fuyons la grande ville et venons admirer (non-pas comme des intrus) cet art de vivre.

Heel leuk, heel slaperig, Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen! De composite is geslaagd en het is een mooi geheel. Toch blij dat ik deze serie nog ontdekt heb.

Perfect spel van licht en shaduw maakt dit zicht met eenvoudige landelijke componenten met heldere zonkleuren een plezier om naar te kijken. Mooi gedaan Hendrik. Ik zal deze route nog wel eens overlopen.

Very sleepy looking place and quiet. Looks more like a small compound rather than a town center. I like this composition presenting this sleep atmosphere so nicely. The grass creeping up between the cobblestones, the small, unassuming, buildings. Very nice.

Een prachtig hollands tafereel, heerlijk, dat oude allemaal, de oude gebouwen en details als lantaarns, hek en pomp.
