An absolutely fabulous image. It has terrific lines throughout made by the rooftops. It retains exceptional image detail. The color is good and there is plenty for the viewer to look at and think about.

Some might suggest that this picture lacks a main subject. That would be wrong. The complex interrelationships of the buildings are it's subject.

Uma imagem absolutamente fabulous. Tem linhas terrific feitas throughout pelos rooftops. Retem o detalhe excepcional da imagem. A cor é boa e há uma abundância para que o visor olhe e pense sobre.

Alguns puderam sugerir que este retrato falta um assunto principal. Isso seria errado. Os interrelationships complexos dos edifícios são ele são assunto.

esta toma en un plano cerrado sobre la ciudad, y la mezcla de elementos arquitectónicos como los tejados y las fachadas, con distintas formas y volúmenes, tienen un grafismo espléndido, que aumenta por la gran luz que lo ilumina todo. Perfecto encuadre, buena idea para la toma y excelente realización.

Está bonita e podia ser aproveitada para um puzzle de 5 mil peças. As cores são fantásticas e como NÃO dizes, a confusão é evidente!!! Quantas ruas estão presentes neste ponto de vista?

from this point of view,it doesn't seem to be a town but a strange colourful mosaîc!I don't know how you get this result,but it seems unreal,like a naive painting.Very interesting and very well done!

This looks like a piece of art work! It is not easy to find a good composition under this circumstance but you have got an excellent one. There is sure beauty in chaos here. The colours of the roofs add a lot to this shot.

Like a giant jigsaw puzzle, except that there's no discernable pattern...yet we see diagonals stretching from the left corner to the top right. The confusion is only ‘Apparent’…true! Intensely strong graphic effect with multitude of colours in your tight frame. Well done!

Tive a felicidade de conhecer LISBOA em 2004, durante uma viagem de um mês entre PORTUGAL E ESPANHA. Apaixonei-me pela cidade, que achei bem acima de minhas expectativas! Aliás, gostei de Portugal como um todo! Aí, também, encontrei boa parte de nossa herança Portuguesa, parte do que somos é de origem portuguesa, por isso, muito me foi familiar!
Quanto a sua foto, gostei muito, pois mostra parte da alma da cidade! Boas coras, nitidez e um ponto de vista diferente!

un effet graphioque surprenant avec toutes ces couleurs qui se cotoyent et toutes petites surfaces.
Un POV en azltitude était bien entendu obligatoire et tu l'as merveilleusement choisi.
La DOF est longue , beaucoup de détails et de profondeur.

Hi, Filipe,

Yesterday, by a coincidence, I critiqued a photo entitled "Colored Homes" by Paura. I encourage you to have a look. There are very interesting similarities (and differences) between your photo and his.

Your scene is remarkably complicated visually. What holds it together? The colors of the roofs are common, which provides a unifying theme across the whole frame. The lines are mostly either vertical or slanted at a uniform roof angle. Even the staircase in the middle right portion of the frame has sloping lines that match the roof lines.

I find it hard to study the image. My eye constantly wanders and finds no rest.
