Photographer’s Note
Megalithic Tomb in the heart of the Burren region of Co. Clare in Ireland. The tomb itself is surrounded by fences which were very difficult to hide when taking the picture. Fortunatly I was able to take the shot from just below the fence line, using an ultra wide angle lens. The Picture has been altered to B&W in Photoshop

It´s like a huge stony mushroom...
Very interesting and dramatic shot. Well composed and framed. Successful using of a filter. B&W and centered positioning work well.

Hi Neil, What a great job you did here with this shot! Making it B&W was defiantly a masterstroke. It is indeed like a scene from the Lord of the Rings. Having been in this region earlier this year I'm well aware of that barrier that surrounds the Dolmen which I painstakingly removed in PS. I have to say I just love the Burren area even thou my tyres paid a heavy price.

Impressive shot Neil! The B&W suits the image. Contrast is very strong. The sky really enhances the dramatic effect. Well done!
I have been posting shots of the Burren area recently also, mainly the landscape, plants and farm life.

Beautiful shot, very dramatic, especially with foreboding clouds! B&W very good choice too.
I visited this Dolmen recently and I know what you mean about trying to take a good shot without the fence.
