Lausanne, place du Flon, the same place as "Urban geometry". In fact it is a lift, moving very fast from floor to the about 15 meters high bridge. The sun was positioned just behind it from this angle. Spot metering the high part of the bridge for the light, in order to get silhouettes and the sky texture.

Looks like you got the metering right on this one :-) Very crisp appearance of the silhouettes of the lift, bridge and crane (not to forget the pedestrians) against the well-textured sky. Good effect with the backlight, and I like how apart from the remaining blue in the sky, this is pretty much a b&w affair. Good shot, Carlos.

Je me rappel de ce lieu (le pont et la grue), Carlos. Cette fameuse photo ou vous jouiez avec les angles et qui m'avait activé les quelques neurones qui me restent. Encore de beaux jeux géométrique offerts par les structures et notamment un excellent positionnement de la grue dans la composition. J'aime beaucoup aussi le rendu de la texture des nuages dans le ciel. La sous-exposition volontaire est bien vue. C'est marrant parce que la prochaine photo que je compte poster délire aussi sur la texture d'un ciel (cependant peut être moins intéressante que la votre sur le plan de la composition).

Très bien fait et excellente composition Carlos, le point de vue est très bien choisi, très belle clarté d'image et une lumière juste à point au bon endroit, bravo.

Bonne vision de cette silhouette ou la partie la plus éclairée qui aurais été soumise aux blancs brûlés a bien été caché derrières cette architecture.

A very dramatic shot Carlos with a fine sky and nice highlights behind the lift and contra jour to the crane but for me the central part of the lift at walkway level is to blocked up and adds to the unballanced RH side of the image.

Un paysage urbain des plus intéressants, avec un dramatisme bien amené par le contre-jour.
La présence humaine est bien vue pour équilibrer la partie gauche de l'image.
Le jeu de ligne est excellent, j'aime beaucoup.
